The Query Builder is one of several SkyServer tools for searching the database of the
Sloan Digital Sky Survey. It allows you to search the SDSS database by building SQL queries step-by-step. It is more powerful and flexible than the
Search Form tool, but can't do as much as the SQL Search
tool.

Searching the Data. To learn what the tables and columns mean, see the
Schema Browser (it will open in a new window).
As you use the Query Builder, follow the instructions below the main window. To get started, click the Build tab, then click FROM.
